Understand the two base prices
Guest Price is the base price used when a guest books directly from the property owner's own website. The final price shown to the guest generally includes Guest Price plus a nominal platform fee and GST, based on current Vacaylabs settings.
Agent Price / B2B Price is the base amount the agent has to pay the property owner for an agent booking. It is set by the property owner.
Agent commission is separate from Agent Price / B2B Price. The agent can set their commission percentage in their profile.
For an agent booking, the final price shown to the guest generally includes Agent Price / B2B Price plus agent commission, a nominal platform fee, and GST.
Example: if Agent Price / B2B Price is Rs. 10,000 and the agent commission is 20%, the commission is calculated on Rs. 10,000 before adding the nominal platform fee and GST.
Set custom pricing
Custom pricing changes the selected dates from the default base prices. It does not mean the base price is always the exact final price shown to the guest.
- 1Open Custom Prices.
- 2Select an enabled property.
- 3Select one or more future dates.
- 4Enter the Guest Price.
- 5Enter the Agent Price / B2B Price.
- 6Apply the custom pricing.
Reset dates to default pricing
Deleting or removing custom pricing from selected dates returns those dates to the default Guest Price and Agent Price / B2B Price. Guest-facing prices may still include agent commission, a nominal platform fee, and GST based on the booking type and current Vacaylabs settings.
- 1Open Custom Prices.
- 2Select the property and dates that have custom pricing.
- 3Delete or remove the custom pricing.
- 4Confirm that the selected dates now use the default prices.
